A Tamil Creative Writing Workshop பேனாச்சுடர்

Calling all aspiring Tamil language writers: join us at பேனாச்சுடர், where you will get a chance to come together, share and discuss your writing with others, picking up suggestions, tips and comments along the way to improve you work, in a safe space.
In this second session, facilitators Elancharan Gunasekaran and Harini V, will lead a series of prompts and exercises to get you to engage with ideas and express them in Tamil. The workshop is open to all writers who are proficient in Tamil and have existing poetry, prose or creative writing to share.
About Elancharan Gunasekaran
Elancharan Gunasekaran is a multidisciplinary artist and poet. He has a strange love for all things poetical and Sci-Fi. A winner of the Montblanc X Esquire Six-word Story prize 2017. His latest publications are Gods of the Gonzo (Analog Submission Press,UK), Sleeping with Wildflowers (Alien Buddha Press, Arizona/New York), The Cosmonaut Manifesto (UndergroundBooks, New York) and Dark Revolver (Roman Books, India/UK).
About Harini V.
Harini V, 22, is a bilingual poet who has been writing Tamil poetry since she was 13. Her Tamil poems have featured in Nithimisai Nagarum Koorangazhkal, the SG 50 Singapore Women's poetry anthology, and Love at the Gallery 2017. She represented her college in CUPSI 2017. She won the National Poetry Competition in 2015 in the Tamil category and was the first runner up in the spoken word poetry competition held by MCAS in 2017.
